My first week in Japan, I was feeling a bit content and generous, so I left an American-sized tip on my dinner. 5 seconds after leaving the restaurant, the waitress had chased me down into the street to return my money to me. So. Tipping, that grand American vice - not such a great idea. If you're feeling generous, keep it to yourself ;)
Every other country has such better-looking money compared to America. Our money is so blah looking.
