Did a walking tour of Bordeaux Boulangeries, and it was the most delicious decision. Bordeaux is known for the cannelés, and I had many, many cannelés on this trip. So now I actually know what they're supposed to taste like!
Highly, highly recommend walking food tours. You get a sample of all the best stuff, with a side of local history.
I was also able to pick the guide's brain for next stops on my journey. I had to be in Nice by a certain date, but other than that, my plans were wide open.
