Apples were an option, but my preference is for GIANT CORN MAZES. Connect-the-dots mazes, phrase mazes, what have you. We loaded up two cars full of friends and headed to Gearhard Farms' Giant Corn Maze to enjoy the glorious 80 degree October weather. That 80 degrees is just confusing.
Although, next year I swear I'll do some strawberry-picking before the season passes.
ooh that looks like fun!
ReplyDeletehahaha i just finished editing my apple picking photos for tomorrow haha.. :) i love giant corn mazes too though.. sooo fun!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I've never been apple picking!! And the last time I went to a corn maze was... 11 year ago? So sad. I am, however going to carve a Lon Chaney (as the Phantom of the Opera) pumpkin this year, so at least I'm doing something to get in the spirit of the season! :-)
ReplyDeleteOOO, sounds like so much fun! And thank you for stopping by my blog, I'm so glad I have chance to see yours. Your blog is wonderful, and can't wait to stop by from time to time.

Yay apple picking! I would love to go this year! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Iris, thanks for stopping by my blog. What a great blog you have! I think I could opt for corn picking to apple picking, only because I'm not a huge apple fan!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a Signs effect, but I find corn mazes scary.
ReplyDeleteIris - thanks for taking a peak at my blog. Corn is my favourite and we don't really do the whole corn maze thing here. I'd love to get lost in a maze of corn!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I've never done a corn maze or gone apple picking.
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to go to a corn maze in VT last weekend, but we ran out of time. However, the advertised, 3 MILES! of Corn Maze! left me feeling nervous. All I could picture was wandering around it for hours! ha.
ReplyDeleteFun, I love corn mazes!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day! My favourite way to do a giant corn maze is with a couple of very small children, it's so cute!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! Veggies and fruit you pick yourself always taste amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou lucky thing! I miss fall activities like this now that I am in a tropical country most of the time. I love apple picking and pumpkin patches!

Ahahha! You are too right about all those apple-picking photos. I haven't gone yet, but I'd probably photograph it if I did.
