With the absolute last bits of our apple picking jonagolds, I made FoodInJars' Spiced Apple Butter in a CrockPot. It takes forever, so I actually turned it off overnight, and then started it up again in the morning. It seemed to be okay with that. Final tasting results are yet to come.
