How To: Five Point Felt Flower and Buds

Step 7: Knot thread, trim ends, and done!
I needed to add some accent flowers to my little felt bouquet, and ended up following Beautifully Rooted's tutorial for petaled flowers, although I also liked her mums :) Behind the accent flowers I wanted some background flower buds. These were super simple to make and their tutorial is at the bottom.

Five Point Felt Flowers

  1. Cut 0.8" strip to cut petals from

  2. Cut into 5 smaller rectangles

  3. Cut small rectangles into petal shapes

  4. Fold petals in half and pass sewing needle through all petals at once

  5. Pull thread through, pass needle through petals a second time

  6. Arrange petals and attach beads

Felt Flower Buds

  1. Cut out bud backing
    Step 1: Cut out bud backing
  2. Cut out bud top petals
    Step 2: Cut out bud top petals
  3. Sew a few stitches at base of bud backing + 2 petals
    Step 3: Sew a few stitches at base of bud backing + 2 petals
Done!
