Early in the flower season, I was able to gather a random sampling of what was blooming in the
Open Garden and the
Fence Garden, and could end up with some absolutely lovely littlehomegrown bouquets. This one is cosmos, fireball monarda, the first of my queen lime orange zinna, salsa echinacea, white globe thistle, breadseed poppies, phenomenal lavender, chives, and hyssop. Even before the rest of the zinnia, apricot asters, and dahlias came in!
