Spinning: Mystery Silky Braid

Seeing as July is Tour de Fleece, I decided to make some progress on the mystery braids that came with my spinning wheel. First up, was this brightly colored merino and maybe silk mix?

I split the big and small braids into thirds, put aside one third, then split the next third in half, and the last third into quarters. And then spun them into singles and plied for my first fractal yarn!

About 111 yards for my 39th skein (17th batch) of handspun yarn!
