Southern Spain Trip: Cordoba

Cordoba Feria (Fair)

For our last day in Seville, we took a day trip to the Cordoba Feria (Fair), in which we encountered so many bewilderingly lovely flamenco dresses, it was overwhelming. Just the amount of effort and detail that goes into each dress, and each one is different! Even the little girls had their own flamenco dresses.

We started by taking a double-decker tourist bus to the Mesquite, a mosque-turned-church with red painted underground arches. We then walked to the the fair. The people watching was fantastic, even inside of the booths that served food, drink, and occasionally dancing. After riding the Ferris Wheel and snacking on some strawberry churros, we settled down at a few outside tables attached to a booth and drank our fill of rebujito (Sprite + white wine). A Feria special!
