2/3 c lemon juice
1/2 c sugar (more if you like it sweet, but no more than 3/4c)
1c sliced strawberries, stems removed (approximately half a pound)
1c smashed strawberries, stems removed
2 peeled lemons (add a third for extra tartness)
2 quarts water
I threw the sugar, 1c whole strawberries, and the lemons into my food processor until it was smoothie-esque. A little chunky is fine. Then I put the mixture, plus the strawberries, lemon juice, and water into a container and shook it up. I made a second batch and am seeing how the concentrate (without water) freezes and defrosts.
I stole this recipe from a friend who's a major lemon fan.
