A couple weeks back, we joined a family weekend in Hidden Valley and traipsed about in the red and orange woods. Ski resorts are apparently not too populated in the fall, making the trails perfect for a bit of geocaching.
I think my favorite part about this season is being able to use the word "autumnal" every other sentence :)
Hiking, what an autumnal activity.

Very fun, love the pretty pics.
Oh my goodness, it doesn't look like that in my area at all.
The thing about eating the same things for a week because I cooked a lot is that I get really sick of it. I can eat the same thing for a few days in a row... but not a week!
I love the word autumnal too :) And everything about fall. EVERYTHING. Except the taste of pumpkins, haha. And sweet potatoes.
lovely pics!! we don't get many red leaves like that down here, so i'm a bit jealous :)
Loooove these trees! Wish there were more pretty ones round here.. Oh well.. Thanks for your comment on my blog btw! I like your blog title.. Made me chuckle!
Have a great day!

beautiful! Last weekend we had a trip planned to yosemite. I was so excited to trail through the autumn trees... last minute we all came down with the flu. booo.
Beautiful! Such wonderful photos!
I can see why you'd want to use the word autumnal if that's what fall's like for you! I'm not a fan because it means never ever seeing the outdoors, only my books and computer screen :(
I seriously love fall, and your pictures turned out great! I just wish we hadn't already entered into winter here!
Love the pictures! I would love be hiking through there as well! So pretty.
Gorgeous - I can almost smell that fresh crisp air
