I'm a big fan of redecorating my apartment right now, and this includes the desk space. This is a quick an easy project to add a piece of "art" to your office area.
Materials
Cork board, preferably without frame (although it could be okay)
Decorative fabric, a couple inches bigger on all sides than the board
Staple Gun, Stapler
Step 1: Lay cork board on fabric
Make sure you put the right side of the fabric towards the floor, and the same for the cork board.
Step 2: Attach Fabric
Beginning with the bottom edge, fold the fabric over the back of teh cork board and staple into place. When the bottom edge is secure, move to the top edge, pulling tightly on the fabric as you staple. Then it's time to secure the side-edges.
Step 3: Gift-Wrap Fold the Corners
When attaching corners of the fabric, be sure to folder it over nicely, like you would if you were wrapping a gift.
Step 4: Admire your "Hard" Work
No, it wasn't difficult, but it sure looks nice and the cork board is still functional.

Oh, nice! I have that fabric =)
Thanks! If I clean my desk up a bit, I might eventually get an updated pic of the area up soon. Eventually.
Beautiful! So easy, but so great!
