Success: Red Lentil Soup

This red lentil soup is delicious. And really, really good with a slice of nice bread. It's Orangette's recipe and I pretty much didn't make any modifications. It's perfect.


I went to four grocery stores looking for red lentils. Whole Foods was sold out and I eventually ended up at the East End Co-op. ...only to find that I already had two cups of red lentils buried in my kitchen cabinets at home. I'm beginning to think I need a pantry that can tell me what ingredients I actually need. Oh well.
