It's the last days of freedom before classes/work start again. That, and winter's the perfect time to stock up on carbs. But who needs excuses to make cinnamon raisin bread, anyways?

The recipe is from The Food Network, and it's pretty solidly tasty. We should've stretched the dough out a bit more before adding the cinnamon and raisins, then there would be more of a swirl, but oh well. Tasty white bread with a giant chunk of sugary fruit in the middle isn't so bad either.

Delicious. Not bad for a first attempt at homemade bread using yeast (well, if you don't count the Liege Belgian Waffles).

Nice - I was just thinking about making some of this today:) I'm glad it worked for you, I'll have to try it...
Yeah, it worked pretty well. Although, I think I prefer quick breads...but maybe I'm just lazy/impatient.
This looks great! Even your swirl is perfect! Mine would be zig-zagged or something lol. Enjoy your last few days of freedom!
Practice ;)
