A day tour of Saint Émilion, Margaux, and Médoc. Between Bordeaux and Sancerre, it's like I'm getting a degree in wine-tasting! Wine immersion.

Once again, everything was stunningly beautiful and historic. The moss-covered wine caves, the hilly Saint Émilion. Each and every winery we visited. There's quite a few differences between Bordeaux and Sancerre wines. Mainly, Sancerre wines all appear to be of one variety of grape, from one field that is grown. Bordeaux has...more lax requirements for being a Bordeaux wine. I am a bit more of a white wine person (read: Sancerre) than red (read: Bordeaux), but I did quite enjoy the numerous winery tours of this trip.

And the scenery. Gosh. Just delightful. At all times.
