'Woke up to the scent of peanut butter and grease. The rather undesirable morning aroma betrayed the actual tastiness of Joy the Baker's Peanut Butter Bacon Cookies. Although, to be honest, I probably prefer straight up peanut butter cookies to this variation, and I will likely never make peanut butter bacon cookies again (unless for a porcine-loving friend).

I really think those are just wrong Iris. Bacon? In cookies? That's like when Tim puts horseradish in the mac and cheese...
Well. The bacon is not really overpowering. Not in these cookies, anyways.
If you want to try something unnatural, go for bacon+chocolate. I had some at Tusca back in October, and my taste buds were really confused.

Yeah, they are worth a try. But you might want to try with light brown sugar instead of dark brown sugar, like I did. The recipe didn't specify, and I always wonder if it really affects anything (aside from color).
