In Japan, bringing back snacks from your vacations to your coworkers is serious business. It's also called Omiyage. Everywhere you go in this place, there's shops just full of boxes of omiyage. And every town is known for a particular snack (much like we might associate Canada with maple, Seattle with coffee, etc. etc.)
And for some unknown reason, Tokyo's most famous omiyage is the "Tokyo Banana": more or less a banana-flavored Twinkie, as pictured in these photos. I'm still not really sure about the whole Tokyo and bananas thing.
'Kinda makes you wonder what a Pittsburgh omiyage would be.

Hmm. Well it looks decent anyway!
D's taiwanese coworker recently brought back treats for everyone. They were...interesting.
So... it kind of looks like a cosmetic sponge. Hopefully it tastes better than one
For Pittsburgh, it would have to be sports memorabilia since there is no way you could bring back a Primanti Bro sandwich and it still be edible!
