Ingredients
2 9x13 baking pans
2 lbs ground beef
2 boxes lasagna noodles (do not use the "easy" ones)
2 lbs mozzarella
8 oz Parmesan
2 large containers of classic prego sauce (use about 1 1/2)
- precook ground meat (until brown) and noodles (according to box, al dente)
- Repeat following steps until pan is full (~4 layers):
- light layer of sauce
- layer of noodles
- layer of sauce
- thin layer of meat
- 1 layer mozzarella
- sprinkle parmesan
- final layer: noodles + sauce + cheese
- - Can be refrigerated at this stage (overnight, until needed), or move on to cooking! -
- preheat oven to 350F
- cover pan in foil
- bake for an hour (check at 45 minutes) at 350F
Recipe makes TWO of 9x13 pans-worth!

I can never turn down lasagna. I have a great recipe for a vegetarian version!
