Mt Rainier Intern Trip
I awoke at 6am on a Saturday to ride the bus out to where the company-organized intern hiking trip to Mt Rainier would depart. It was a rough start, but once we arrived we were greeted by some amazing views. There's nothing quite like walking about underneath the imposing image of Mt Rainier (an active volcano). It was lovely.

I even got to see a marmot, which I missed out on during our Yosemite trip.

Aaw, that's a very young marmot, too! Love 'em.

That's beautiful - is that SNOW?! I wish there were more places to hike in Houston but the city is simply not built for it. It is, however, built for melting, particularly in August
