Chicken & Basil Fettuccine Pasta with Mascarpone & Plum Tomatoes
This chicken basil sausage from Blue Apron was really solid. Not terribly difficult to make, and pretty tasty for all the effort! It's nice sometimes to have someone else determine what you're going to eat three times per week.


Nothing too remarkable about these steaks, potatoes, and vegetables. It was nice to be sent some fresh tarragon to fancy-up the beans. I've never worked with it before.

This barley risotto from Blue Apron is the first risotto that I actually enjoyed eating. Maybe it was the barley (instead of rice) risotto? Who knows. Tasty. But I'm not exactly ever going to go out of my way to purchase fennel root.

Fennel root! Great for soup/stock.
