With only a few weekends left in California, we've been trying to make the most of it. We took a day trip to Santa Cruz and its boardwalk, only an hour from where we live. A great day for getting some super wonky tan lines on your feet.
The Santa Cruz events calendar told us about an open air VW show. We couldn't get more California than that, so off we went.
From the car show we hopped over to the 'Mystery Spot.' Solid road side attraction / optical illusion. With some pretty impressive marketing.
Afterward we headed to Natural Bridges State Park. A lovely beach, full of fully clothed people. The beaches in Northern California can be a bit chilly. Is always a bit chilly?
In the evening we went for well-produced pirate mini golf and ice cream cones.
