Lake Placid Trip

A few weekends ago we took the dog to a dog-friendly hotel in Lake Placid for a mini-break and to get some 'shop local' holiday shopping done. Lake Placid had that in spades.

Also, very pretty with or without the snow. Hot toddies by a firepit, lots of pine-themed gifts, a pretty lake, and plenty of restaurants.



We left the town to go hiking, although most of the roads to the trails were iced over, so we just chose a random trailhead right off the side of the road. X loves off-leash hiking, and she's very good about it. What she's not very good about is staying out of the water...
