I tried out this
recipe from Love from the Oven for chocolate peanut butter cookies. I don't know if it's the fact that I overbaked them that did them in. But that doesn't really explain the overall lack of chocolatey-ness? It came out more as a peanut butter cookie with a hint of chocolate.
Next time, I would bake for the recommended amount only. It can be very tricky to tell when chocolate cookies are done, as they start out browned! And maybe try double the amount of cocoa powder? Who knows.
