I've been interspersing hand-knitted gifts for others with the occasional item for myself. This time we have a mulberry-colored stitch sampler cowl called The Heart Warmer
It was the bobbles that drew me in, but there's also some quirky lace and a little bit of cables. I cut out a few rows so that I wouldn't run out of yarn, and it blocked out a bit bigger than the pattern specified, so maybe I should've used smaller needles? No matter, it looks great! It has nice drape and a bit of shine, although I think the darker color probably makes it a little difficult to see some of the stitch definition.
