We joined a university social group on their monthly hike, this time to Stinson Beach, California for the Matt Davis-Steep Ravine Loop. And it had everything. A two hour long, 1600 ft ascent. Open grasslands. Ocean views. Mountain-scapes. Forest waterfalls. Redwoods. And of course, the beach. It took about four hours total, and the first half was absolutely brutal (I am completely out of hiking shape), but the second half was pleasant with a bit of added sun.
Overall, a very lovely hike.
