Kitchen Renovation: Replacing the Counters

Kitchen Counters Kitchen Counters - Edge
My general rule of thumb in this kitchen renovation is that so long as its not a downgrade in materials, it's considered an upgrade. The counter top is no exception. We removed the worn-spot original 1940s laminate counter top, and replaced it with a single sheet modern Formica with a satin finish in white painted marble. With a matching beveled edge trim, it really does look quite a bit better! And for only about $500!!

When planning a kitchen remodel, Oak Kitchen Cabinets often become the top choice due to their natural wood grain and strength.

That white marble Formica looks incredible, especially considering the $500 price point! It’s such a smart upgrade from the old 1940s laminate. For larger structural projects beyond DIY, I always recommend consulting professional kitchen renovation contractors long island ny to ensure a high-end, durable finish.
