Bordeaux is great. Great for the wine. For the cannelés. For the cannelé-flavored beer. For the public transit. For the food. For the museum. For the shopping. For lots and lots of things.

This ancient Aquitane city is wicked old, and with that comes lots of winding streets to walk through, surrounded by wonderful historical architecture.

A few historic stone gates border the old city, where my AirBnB was located. Just lovely.

The Miroir d'Eau, also a lovely scene along Le Garonne River, with Place de la Bourse across. Took a boat tour that came with a cannelé!
