Well. It's done. The first quilt that took me about a week instead of more than two years. But it's only a 60x60 inch throw quilt made of squares and half square triangles. So one week is a pretty doable timeline.
I think I like
the original quilt inspiration's fabric choices better, but the plaid reduces a bit of the girliness. Doing the scrappy quilt backing and binding, I was able to use up most of the fabrics I had purchased...so it's both lovely and resourceful!

Yay! Throw quilts are the best, both for couch naps and project time-wise. Love the color pop of this one, and using up scraps is always a bonus =).
